Training Initiatives. 20.1 To enhance client needs and ensure effective operational and service initiatives, the Company will at all times are mindful of the need to keep ALL employees abreast with ongoing training. Unless operational requirements dictate, otherwise the company's intent is that all training will be conducted during ordinary hours, wherever possible. All such training will be paid at the ordinary base rates only. 20.2 Where an employee requests, with the exception of a Team Leader, a reclassification of grading, the company will arrange for suitable training for the appropriate grade. At the completion of training, the employee will be assessed on their competence to fulfil the required duties of that grade. A competency grade of 98% is required in the following duties: •Receiving to include R/F Scanning of pallets from trucks, accepting the load in to Exceed •correcting load errors • Allocating Pick Tasks to the Warehouse • correcting pick errors • closing pick jobs, shipping and invoicing orders.
Training Initiatives. 5.1 SFRS and LABSS agree to undertake, where appropriate, joint training events on matters of new or revised policy, procedures or technical advancements. 5.2 In addition each organisation will encourage local training for new members of staff to enhance knowledge and understanding of both organisations legislative duties and powers, policy, procedures and to enhance further consultation.

Training Initiatives. Should a Sub-Contractor engage in training they would be entitled to payment of the labour component only in line with the Award. Where possible, the Company will attempt to provide career advancement for Sub-Contractors who undertake training as part of coordinating a team and demonstrate commitment to self development and leading other employees in work improvements.
Training Initiatives. The Proponent shall develop and implement training initiatives (a) for all phases of the Project in cooperation with the Government, labour organizations, Provincial Suppliers and educational and training institutions in the Province and, (b) with respect to the phases of the Project located in Labrador and, subject to the provisions of the IBAs, for the LIA and Innu Nation. These initiatives will include pre-employment and employment training programs utilizing in-house and external training organizations throughout the Province. The Proponent shall establish specific programs for training at the Mine site and the Processing Plant site and make maximum use of existing Provincial educational facilities near the Mine site and the Processing Plant site.
Training Initiatives. This should include: • methods of disseminating the content of the protocol to all personnel • agreement on any shared training initiatives. Training should promote understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the police and healthcare professionals.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.
