Type of degree. After successful completion of all requirements of the EXTATIC Joint Doctorate the candidate will be issued with a Doctorate Award (we will endeavour to ensure that this is a joint award from the relevant institutions). This will be defined in the Co-tutelle agreement for each doctoral candidate. As a form of acknowledgement each EXTATIC partner playing a significant role in the doctoral research including non‐Higher Education Institutes, will clearly be documented in the EXTATIC Training Certificate.
