Common use of Types of Shifts Clause in Contracts

Types of Shifts. a. Swing shift means authorized work schedules regularly assigned in which four (4) hours or more worked are between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight of each workday. b. Night shift means authorized work schedules regularly assigned in which fours (4) hours or more worked are between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m. of each workday. c. Day shift means any authorized work schedules assigned except swing or night shifts as defined in this section.
