Unauthorized Statements Sample Clauses

The Unauthorized Statements clause prohibits parties from making statements or representations that have not been expressly approved by the other party or are outside the scope of their authority. In practice, this means that employees or representatives cannot make public comments, issue press releases, or provide information about the agreement or the other party unless they have received prior written consent. This clause helps prevent the spread of inaccurate or misleading information and protects both parties from reputational harm or legal liability arising from unauthorized disclosures.
