Underground Allowance Sample Clauses

The Underground Allowance clause defines a specific budget or cost allocation for work related to underground utilities or infrastructure within a construction project. This clause typically sets a predetermined amount to cover unforeseen expenses that may arise when encountering unknown or unmarked underground conditions, such as pipes, cables, or foundations. By establishing this allowance, the clause helps manage financial risk and ensures that both parties are prepared for potential extra costs, thereby reducing disputes and delays related to unexpected underground discoveries.
