Union/Association. The Association president and vice-president, in order to fulfil their responsibilities as the elected officers representing the welfare of the Association, will be freed from obligations normally required of a faculty member with respect to committees and related work. The Association will be allowed the use of reasonable bulletin board space and similar space in the College newspaper. The Association will have the right to use College facilities for meeting purposes free of charge. The College will provide the Association with office space equivalent to the existing allocation. The Association designate will be furnished with a copy of the Agenda and other public information assembled for College Board meetings. This material will be mailed to the Association at the time of distribution to the College Board. Approved minutes of all College Board meetings will be distributed similarly. The College shall provide the Association with a list of regular faculty members month. The list shall include the name, address, and telephone number of the faculty member, the department, and step on scale. As well, for each contract faculty member, the College shall provide the Association with the name, address and telephone number, length of and rate of pay. This information shall be provided by the 15th day of each month for contracts signed in the previous month and may be provided in the form of copies of the signed by each contract faculty member. Provision of these data in the form of individual shall not constitute notice to the Association of the content of any individual for the purposes of the grievance procedure. The College shall provide seniority service lists to the Association in accordance with Article Deduction of dues as a condition employment will be applied to all members of the bargaining unit. All deductions of dues shall be remitted by the College to the agent appointed by the Association not later than fifteen (15) days after the date of deduction. The Association shall advise the College in writing of the amount of its regular monthly dues. The amount so specified shall continue to be the amount of the Association's regular monthly dues and shall continue to be the amount to be deducted until changed by further written notice to the College from the President of the Association.   • Association Grievance A grievance, as defined in Section 7.1, relating to occurrences actually involving at least three (3) nurses or arising under the Association Business article, may be initiated by the Association at Step 2 of the above-mentioned procedure by the filing of a written grievance, signed by a representative of the Association, within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of occurrence. Such grievance shall describe the problem and the contract provisions alleged to have been violated.

  • HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION As a purchaser of property in the residential community in or where the property is located, you (circle one): ARE, ARE NOT obligated to be a member of the property owner’s association.   • Association Leaves 1. The Board will provide the Association President or their designee with forty (40) days of paid release time during the course of the school year in order to conduct Association Business. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of any substitute required as the result of any such released time which exceeds forty (40) days during the course of the school year. 2. The following provisions were not bargained and have been included for informational purposes only: a. Because of the many responsibilities imposed on the President of the Association, and in order to enhance the quality of instruction in the classes taught by him or her and maintain continuity, the Board will provide the building to which the President is assigned with a full-time aide who is also a certified substitute teacher. b. The building principal and the President will work out a mutually agreed upon schedule for the use of the aide. c. The presence of this aide will not be used to justify absences in excess of those authorized by the terms of this Agreement.

  • OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION 13.1 That the Purchaser shall become a member of the association / society that has been formed (details of association are given in annexure – A) to look after the maintenance of the Housing Project and shall abide by its rules. 13.2 In case the society / association has yet to be formed, the Purchaser shall pay to the Vendor such proportionate cost of outgoings such as common water charges, common lights, repairs, salaries of clerk, watchman, sweepers, etc., as may be determined by the Vendor. It is proposed that the monthly maintenance charges payable by the Purchaser to the Association/Vendor shall be Rs. 2/- per sft from the deemed date of completion of the Scheduled Flat. The rate shall be subject to change and periodic upward revision. 13.3 If the Purchaser ever fails to pay maintenance charges, corpus fund or other charges related to the Scheduled Flat, the Association shall be entitled to disconnect and stop providing all or any services to the Scheduled Flat including water, electricity, etc. Further, the Purchaser may be barred from using common amenities like clubhouse, swimming pool, parks, open areas, generator backup, etc., till such time all arrears are cleared. 13.4 The Purchaser shall pay corpus fund to the Association at the time of taking possession of the completed flat. The details of corpus fund payable are given in Annexure – A. The details of the initial monthly maintenance charges payable by the Purchaser to the Association/Vendor, from the deemed date of completion of the Scheduled Flat is given in Annexure -A. 13.5 The Vendor has proposed to deliver the common amenities in phases on or before completion of the last block of flats. The monthly maintenance charges payable by the Purchaser to the Association shall not be linked to provision/completion of common amenities. The Purchaser shall not raise any objection on this count. 13.6 The monthly maintenance charges payable to the Association are proposed to be increased from time to time and the Purchaser shall be liable to pay such increased charges. 13.7 The Purchaser agrees not to withhold or delay payment of monthly maintenance charges to the Association for any defects in construction. Repairs/correction of defects in construction, if any, is the responsibility of the Vendor and the Purchaser agrees to not withhold payment of monthly maintenance charges. 13.8 The Vendor shall be entitled to form the Owners Association and draft its bye-laws as he deems fit and proper. The Vendor and its nominees shall be the founding members of the Association. The Association shall be handed over to the members of the Association (i.e., prospective purchasers) at the time of completion of the entire Housing Project, by calling for elections for its executive committee members. Till such time the Vendor and its nominees shall run the day today affairs of the Association. The Purchaser shall not raise any objection on this count.

  • Association Leave The Association shall be allowed to use up to 5 days of leave each school year for use by teachers who are officers or agents of the Association. The Association shall reimburse Unified School District 434 for the loss of use of the teacher taking such leave by paying the daily cost of a substitute teacher. The Association shall notify the Superintendent not less than 5 calendar days in advance of using such leave.
