Common use of Union Functions Clause in Contracts

Union Functions. Upon applications submitted at least ten (10) working days in advance, members of the bargaining unit may be granted, upon the Employer's approval, unpaid leave of absence equivalent to a maximum in the aggregate of thirty (30) working days per calendar year for the entire Bargaining Unit to represent the Union at conventions, executive and committee meetings, or workshops.
