Unit Conversion Clause Samples

The Unit Conversion clause establishes the method for converting measurements or quantities from one unit system to another within a contract or agreement. It typically specifies the applicable conversion rates, standards, or formulas to be used when parties reference different units, such as converting between metric and imperial measurements. This clause ensures consistency and accuracy in interpreting quantities, preventing disputes or misunderstandings that could arise from differing unit systems.
Unit Conversion. For purposes of this Cloud Access Exhibit 1.I and for Eligible Subscriptions transferred to a Vendor’s Cloud, the Unit of measurement for an Eligible Subscription purchased for on-premise use will be the Unit of measurement for a BYOS Unit as set forth at the conversion table located at ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/en/technologies/cloud-computing/cloud-access. For those Eligible Subscriptions that were originally sold for use in a Vendor’s Cloud, no conversion is required. The number of simultaneous Cloud Access Units in the Vendor Cloud will not exceed the total number of Units (a) transferred from Eligible Subscriptions and/or (b) purchased for use in a Vendor Cloud.
Unit Conversion. For purposes of this Cloud Access Exhibit 1.J and for each BYOS, the Unit of measurement for an Eligible Subscription purchased for on- premise use will be converted to a different Unit of measurement for a BYOS Unit for use in a Cloud. The conversion table at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/forms/cloud-access-registration identifies how a Unit converts from an Eligible Subscription Unit purchased for on-premise use to the corresponding BYOS Unit. For those Eligible Subscriptions that were originally sold for use in a Vendor’s Cloud, no conversion is required. The number of simultaneous BYOS Units in the Vendor Cloud will not exceed the total number of Units (a) transferred from Eligible Subscriptions and/or (b) purchased for use in a Vendor Cloud.
Unit Conversion. Quarter units are converted to semester units by multiplying the quarter units by 2/3. If this multiplication results in a fraction that, when added to the other semester units, is within 1/2 unit from the required units for qualifying for the next column, then the fraction shall be rounded up to the next whole number; and the teacher shall be placed on the next column.
Unit Conversion. 7 Quarter units are converted to semester units by multiplying the quarter units by two- 8 thirds.
Unit Conversion. 16 Quarter units are converted to semester units by multiplying the 17 quarter units by two-thirds (2/3). If this multiplication results in a fraction 18 that when added to the other semester units is within one-half (1/2) unit from 19 the required units for qualifying for the next column, then the fraction 20 shall be rounded up to the next whole number and the unit member shall be 21 placed on the next column.
Unit Conversion. A quantity of energy expressed in kWh (kilowatt-hour) at 25 °C (GCV) is converted into a quantity of energy expressed in MWh (Megawatt-hour) at 0 °C GCV by multiplying this quantity of energy by one point zero zero two six (1.0026), in accordance with the recommendations of standard NF ISO 13443, and by dividing the product of this multiplication by one thousand (1,000). A quantity of energy expressed in MWh (Megawatt-hour) at 0 °C GCV is converted into a quantity of energy expressed in kWh (kilowatt-hour) at 25 °C GCV by multiplying this quantity of energy by one thousand (1,000) and by dividing the product of this multiplication by one point zero zero two six (1.0026), in accordance with the recommendations of standard NF ISO 13443. A quantity of energy expressed in Wh (Watt-hour) is converted into a quantity of energy expressed in J (joule) by multiplying this quantity of energy by 3,600. A quantity of energy expressed in Btu (British Thermal Unit) is converted into a quantity of energy expressed in J (joule) by multiplying this quantity of energy by 1,055.056.
