Common use of Unit Seniority Clause in Contracts

Unit Seniority. Unit Seniority shall be defined as continuous employment on a unit/cost center in a bargaining unit position. For the purposes of determining Unit Seniority, the seniority will pertain to each Cost Center, as listed in Appendix 1 of this agreement.

Unit Seniority. 1. Unit Seniority seniority is defined as the length of continuous service of an employee in the bargaining unit with respect to all other employees who have seniority in the same bargaining unit. 2. The unit seniority date for all bargaining unit employees shall be defined as continuous employment on a their date of hire in the unit/cost center in a bargaining unit position. For the purposes of determining Unit Seniority, the seniority will pertain to each Cost Center, as listed in Appendix 1 of this agreement.
