Use of your home. You, your household and visitors must not use your home for any illegal or immoral purpose. You must not use your home for running a business or allow any other person to do so without our written permission. You, or any other person, must not advertise or display notices or signs for business purposes on your home without our written permission. We will not refuse permission unless we feel that the business is likely to cause a nuisance to other people, or damage your home or adjacent property. If we do give permission to run a business from your home and it causes a nuisance, we will withdraw permission. You may also need to obtain planning permission to run a business from your home. It is your responsibility to obtain and comply with such permissions.
Use of your home a) You agree to live in your home, and use it as your only [or principal] home. You must not operate or advertise any trade or business at your home without our written permission. We will not unreasonably refuse permission. If we give permission and the trade or business causes a nuisance or annoyance to other people in the locality, or damages our property, we can withdraw the permission.
b) You must not commit any criminal offence at or in the locality of your home. You must not use your home for any illegal or immoral purpose including growing, preparing, selling, supplying or using any illegal drugs, storing or handling stolen goods or prostitution.
c) You are not entitled to (and will not become entitled to), any right of light or air or other right, which would affect the use or development of other property in the area.
Use of your home. 5.5.1 You must take possession of your home at the start of the tenancy and not part with possession or sub-let the whole of it and you must occupy your home as your only or principal home.
5.5.2 You must not use or allow your home to be used for any trade or business or for any other purpose other than as a private dwelling without our prior written permission. You shall not cause or permit the display of any sign or the use of any advertisement at your home or in relation to your home in connection with any trade or business.
5.5.3 You must not keep at your home any dangerous or inflammable substance except where your home has oil, propane or solid fuel heating, in which case you may store reasonable quantities of the fuel at your home, provided it is stored in a safe and appropriate manner.
Use of your home. (a) You must use your Council property as your main home.
(b) You must not have more people living in your home than the maximum number allowed. If you are unsure what is the maximum number allowed, please ask your Tenancy Officer.
(c) If you will be away from your home for more than a month you must first tell your Tenancy Officer.
(d) You must not run a business from your home or allow anyone else to do so without first getting the Council’s written permission. You may also need planning permission.
(e) You must keep your garden tidy and clear of rubbish.
(f) You must not trim or cut down any trees in your garden without first getting the Council’s written permission.
Use of your home. 32.1 You must use your home as your only or principal home and not operate any business at or from it without our prior written consent (such consent not to be unreasonably withheld). If we give our consent to run a business from your home, we may regularly review our decision. We will withdraw permission if your business causes a nuisance or damage to property.
32.2 You must keep your home in good condition and report any faults or damage for which we are responsible immediately to us.
32.3 You must not tamper with gas or electricity supplies or with the meters.
32.4 You must not keep mopeds, motorbikes or any machinery with a fuel engine inside your home or on indoor shared areas (such as entrance halls, stairs, walkways and landings).
32.5 You must not allow more than the number of persons shown on page 2 to live at your home.
Use of your home. 13.1 You, your friends and relatives and any other person living in or visiting the property (including children) must not use the property other than as a private home.
13.2 You must obtain our written permission before you run a business from the home.
13.3 Periodically you may be required to produce identification and provide evidence that you occupy the property and details of anyone else living with you on a permanent or temporary basis.
13.4 Periodically you will be required to provide access to the property for the purpose of carrying out a tenancy check.
13.5 You must take reasonable steps to prevent noise transferring from your home to any adjoining properties. This may include laying carpets or fitting other floor insulation.
13.6 You should tell us in writing if you will be away from your home for more than four consecutive weeks.
Use of your home. 4.1 To use your home for residential purposes as your only or principal home and not to operate any business at your home except with our prior written permission and planning permission if necessary. We will not unreasonably withhold our consent.
Use of your home. 22.1 That neither you, nor your visitors nor any person living with you, shall operate a business or trade in your home, the Building or the Estate without first getting our written permission plus all necessary consents such as planning permission, insurance and licences.
22.2 Any consent given to you by us may have reasonable conditions attached to it which you must comply with.
22.3 If permission is given to you, your visitors or any person living with you, to carry out a business or trade in your home, it must not cause or be capable of causing a nuisance or annoyance to other people in the Estate.
22.4 That neither you nor members of your household or your visitors will use or threaten to use your home, the Building and/or the Estate for any illegal, immoral or unlawful purpose. This includes but is not limited to:
(i) Prostitution;
(ii) Cultivating, manufacturing, selling, conspiring to steal, using, possessing and/or dealing in illegal drugs or substances;
(iii) Holding unlicensed firearms or illegal weapons; or
(iv) Handling or storing stolen or counterfeit goods.
Use of your home. You must:
(i) use your home as a private dwelling;
(ii) not carry on a trade or business or allow a trade or business to be carried on at your home without getting our written permission beforehand. You must obtain any necessary planning and other consents before asking for our permission. If our permission is given and the trade or business disturbs or causes nuisance or annoyance to your neighbours, our permission will be withdrawn;
(iii) not use your home, any shared area or the locality for any illegal, criminal, immoral or improper purposes.
(iv) not display any business advertisement, sign or notice on your home without getting our written permission beforehand, which may be withheld at our discretion.
Use of your home. You must:
(i) use your home as a private dwelling;
(ii) not overcrowd your home by allowing more people to live there than the permitted number shown on your rent card;
(iii) not carry on a trade or business or allow a trade or business to be carried on at your home without getting our written consent beforehand and any necessary planning and other consents where required. If our consent is given and the trade or business disturbs or causes nuisance or annoyance to your neighbours, our consent will be withdrawn;
