Employees can return to a normal work contained in Section 9(Bschedule upon the giving of thirty (30) of this Articlecalendar days written notice to the Prosecutor. The Prosecutor can return the employee to a normal schedule at any time. Employees on voluntary reduction of work hours, working 32 hours per week or more, shall not have benefits reduced. Employees shall not reduce their work hours to less than 32 hours per week. Continuation of benefits shall be subject to the employee’s payment of any required premiums as arranged through Finance or Human Resources. Voluntary Layoff. 11.05 An employee who are performing the same work will be offered the option to take a voluntary layoff in seniority order. If enough volunteers are not obtained, then the option to take takes a voluntary layoff will be offered to remain laid off out of the plant for the specified period, unless all other employees within laid off out of the seniority unitplant have been recalled to work. It is understood that during the specified period, on the same shift, provided there are adequate qualified employees remaining to meet operational requirements without invoking the seniority provisions of this Agreement. It is acknowledged and understood that this may result in reverse order further layoffs and the exercise of seniority, except that employees who have notified the Company seniority office of their desire to be recalled, will be recalled in accordance with their seniority. 11.07 The employee on voluntary layoff are subject to the recall provisions concerning notification and reporting shall not be recalled to work contained at the end of the specified period if he would have been laid off outside of the plant by the normal procedure outlined in Section 9(B) of this Article. 6. If an Employee who has elected to work contained in Section 9(B) of this Article. Employees go on voluntary layoff status later decides he would prefer to return to active employment, he must give the department seven (7) calendar days written notice prior to the posting of the weekly work schedule. It is understood the Employee would be returned to the position he would have held as though he had elected to not take voluntary layoff. Employees who are interested in taking a voluntary layoff instead of exercising their bumping privileges, must notify Human Resources and shall be returned to the job code and shift from which the employee was laid off Union in accordance with their seniority as soon as an opening becomes available. When it is determined that a reduction in force is necessary, affected employees in the job code(s) and work group(s) who are performing the same work will be offered the option to take a voluntary layoff in seniority order. If enough volunteers are not obtained, then the option to take a voluntary layoff will be offered to other employees within the seniority unit, on the same shift, provided there are adequate qualified employees remaining to meet operational requirements without invoking the seniority provisions of this Agreement. Supervision may deny a voluntary layoff request based on skills needed to continue operations. Volunteers must be willing to remain on layoff for a minimum of twelve (12) calendar weeks and are subject to recall as needed for full-time assignments. Recalls will be in reverse order of seniority, except that employees who have notified the Company seniority office writing of their desire to be recalled, will be recalled in accordance with their seniorityvolunteer for a layoff within seven (7) calendar days of the Director of Employee and Labor Relations providing notice to the union of the possibility of a layoff. After the offer of voluntary layoff must notify is accepted, the Company employee will receive the same benefits as other involuntary laid off employees except s/he will not be permitted to displace (bump) a lower-level, less senior employee.
d. If the employee is recalled during the recall list period, the employee will suffer no break in service. If the employee is not recalled during the recall period, the employee will have a break in service and his/her seniority office and will be returned within two (2) calendar weeks to their prior job, work group and shift, in accordance with their seniorityreset. To clarify Article 19 regarding the order of layoffs, the parties agree that the order of layoffs may be modified so that employees who is bumped or cut back shall have volunteer to be laid off may be laid off before less senior employees under the right to take following conditions:
