Web Browsers Sample Clauses

The 'Web Browsers' clause defines the requirements or restrictions regarding the use of web browsers in relation to the agreement or service. It may specify which browsers are supported, outline compatibility standards, or set expectations for user access through certain browser types or versions. For example, the clause might state that the service is optimized for the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari, and that functionality on outdated browsers is not guaranteed. This clause ensures that both parties understand the technical boundaries of the service, reducing disputes over accessibility and clarifying the provider's obligations regarding browser support.

This agreement includes all data on production servers identified as a priority by Technology Services staff with operating systems of 2016 or higher. Data is backed up onsite, at a local data center and at an out of region data center. The includes regular testing of backups to ensure they can be restored properly. As a general rule, full backups are created upon commencement of the MBDR process, then followed by incremental backups every 2 hours to allow for rapid restoration of data as needed. Backups are held for 6 months. If the size of a particular incremental backup is large enough to prevent its completion within 2 hours, there may be a longer time between backup increments. In some instances, if storage space is limited, backup frequency or retention period may be reduced. Lower priority servers, including test servers, servers used only for storing historic data that does not change, or application servers that do not change, may be backed up using different, lower availability methods (such as once a year backup to external drive). In the event of a server failure, requiring restoration from backup, the time required to restore server data will vary significantly depending on the scale of outage, and the size of the data requiring restoration. KCFC Technology Services will prioritize server restoration based on operational need, with a priority placed on Emergency services, and public services. Every effort will be made to reduce the risk of data corruption and loss, which may entail a longer period of time before full active service is restored.
