Work on a Scheduled Day Off. Full-time nurses required by the Employer to work on their scheduled day(s) off, shall be entitled to pay at the overtime rate of time and one-half (1.5) for all hours so worked.

Work on a Scheduled Day Off. An employee may refuse to work on a scheduled day off and shall not be penalized for such refusal. However, should all employees in the job classification refuse to work on a day off, the Company may assign the work to any available qualified employee in reverse order of seniority in that classification. Where such assignment constitutes more than sixteen (16) hours of overtime over the fourteen (14) day period the next most junior qualified employee may be so assigned.

If a trainman is called to work on his scheduled day off he shall be paid as follows: Time Worked Rate of Pay (X Regular Rate) Up to 7 ½ hours 150% From 7 ½ to 10 ½ hours 225% After 10 ½ hours 300% He will receive no less than other straight time members on the same crew and when working more than 3 ¾ hours, he shall receive pay based on not less than seven and one-half (7 ½) hours.

13.7.1 If an employee who has worked on one of two or more, consecutively scheduled days off, agrees to work on the second or subsequent such consecutively scheduled days off, he shall be paid for all hours worked on such second or subsequent day(s) off at twice (2X) the basic rate with a minimum credit of eight (8) hours.
13.7.2 All time worked in excess of eight (8) hours on a day off shall be paid at an additional one-half (½) the basic rate over the rates contained in Articles 13.7 and 13.7.1.
13.7.3 An employee may refuse work on a day off without being penalized in any way for such refusal.
