WORK SCHEDULE AND OVERTIME. 10 4.1 Except as modified under Article 4.02(B) or elsewhere in this Agreement, a 11 standard workday will consist of eight hours' work to be completed within 12 eight and one-half consecutive hours with a 30-minute meal period on the 13 nurse's own time. If the nurse is required by the Hospital to remain on duty or 14 in the Hospital during the meal period, that time will be considered as time 15 worked for pay purposes. It is understood that unpaid meal periods are 16 uninterrupted 30-minute periods in which the nurse is not required to perform 17 any duties on behalf of the Hospital. 19 4.2 The standard work period consists of 80 hours within a 14-day period, or a 20 40-hour period within a 7-day period, except as modified by agreement at 21 Article 4.02(B). 22 A.
