Work Schedule and Shift Starting and Ending Time. A. The current schedule of twenty-four (24) hours on duty and forty-eight (48) hours off duty shall be continued for Fire Suppression and EMS Division employees covered by this Agreement, except that every seventh (7th) shift will be scheduled time off (R-day). This will provide an average work week of forty-eight (48) hours. B. Twenty-four (24) hour shifts for Fire Suppression and EMS Division employees shall begin at 0800 and end at 0800 the following morning, except for District Chief #5, whose shift will begin at 0730 and end at 0730, and District Chief #10 whose shift will begin at 0830 and end at 0830 consistent with current practice. Other shift positions that currently have different starting and ending times may continue to work a different schedule. The shift for Captain of EMS shall begin at 0800 and end at 1700. C. The work hours and work week of employees assigned to other divisions or activities of the Fire Department shall be determined by the Fire Chief to meet the needs of the department and provide the most efficient service to the community.

This will provide an average work week of fifty-two
Work Schedule and Shift Starting and Ending Time. A. Personnel assigned to a peak load unit (PLU) will work a two shift schedule with an average normal work week of forty-two (42) hours. B. The start time for each shift shall be between the hours of 0800 and 0900. If the Fire Chief deems the peak load schedule needs to change due to operational reasons, the Fire Chief will provide affected employees and the union with at least ninety (90) days’ notice prior to bargain the impact of those changes. C. Each Peak Load Unit will not be placed into service until five (5) Firefighter/Paramedics are hired, have completed the Department’s orientation, and are County-recognized and certified.

  • Schedule and Completion The Pre-commencement Phase Services to be performed under this Contract shall commence upon the Effective Date of the Contract and be completed within 60 days thereafter. Activities on the Site shall commence on the date specified in the Proceed Order and shall be materially complete in accordance with established Milestones, and not later than the Material Completion and Occupancy Date.

  • Geographic Area and Sector Specific Allowances, Conditions and Exceptions The following allowances and conditions shall apply where relevant. Where the Employer does work which falls under the following headings, the Employer agrees to pay and observe the relevant respective conditions and/or exceptions set out below in each case.

  • Duration and Scope of Covenants If any court or other decision-maker of competent jurisdiction determines that any of the Executive’s covenants contained in this Agreement, including, without limitation, any of the Restrictive Covenants, or any part thereof, is unenforceable because of the duration or geographical scope of such provision, then, after such determination has become final and unappealable, the duration or scope of such provision, as the case may be, shall be reduced so that such provision becomes enforceable and, in its reduced form, such provision shall then be enforceable and shall be enforced.

  • Switching and Tagging Rules The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each provide the other Party a copy of its switching and tagging rules that are applicable to the other Party’s activities. Such switching and tagging rules shall be developed on a nondiscriminatory basis. The Parties shall comply with applicable switching and tagging rules, as amended from time to time, in obtaining clearances for work or for switching operations on equipment.
