HUD Guidelines means the edition of the HUD Guidelines for the Evaluation and Control of Lead-Based Paint Hazards in Housing (HUD-1539-LBP) in effect at the time the work required in Paragraphs 51 through 75 of this Consent Agreement is commenced, on a property by property basis. The specific chapters of the HUD Guidelines referenced in this Consent Agreement are those chapters in effect on the date AIMCO signs this Consent Agreement. Should the number of the appropriate chapter change in future editions of the HUD Guidelines, prior to AIMCO commencing any work on a property by property basis, then the corresponding chapter to the chapter listed in this Consent Agreement should be substituted. If a revision of the HUD Guidelines results in a change in work practices, AIMCO shall comply with the revised HUD Guidelines. At any time, AIMCO shall employ work practices that are more stringent than those contained in the HUD Guidelines if state laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the work is being performed dictate so.
