Operating System Software definition

Operating System Software or “operating system software” means the software necessary to operate the Hardware.
Operating System Software means a set of statements or instructions that when incorporated into a machine or device having information processing capabilities is an interface between the computer hardware and the application computer software or system software.
Operating System Software means (i) a computer program that manages other computer programs in a computer, and (ii) is used by application programs by making requests for services through a defined application program interface.

  • The Program may be transferred to another Machine, site or Operating System Software only upon prior written notice and subject to Sybase's transfer policies and fees then in effect.

More Definitions of Operating System Software

Operating System Software means the operating system software on which the Program (or component thereof) is designed to be Used, as specified in the Documentation.
