Accredited Representatives. Accredited representatives of AFSCME shall have access to the premises of the Employer at reasonable times during working hours to conduct Union business related to administration of the Agreement, as may be required, after first informing the supervisor of the unit they wish to visit.
Accredited Representatives. (a) The Union shall inform the Company in writing of the names and positions of its officials and, currently, any changes thereto. Only persons so designated to the Company will be accredited as representatives of the Union. Accreditation shall be effective on the third day following the Company's receipt of the notification.
Accredited Representatives. 3.1 Definition
Accredited Representatives. A person who has worked as an accredited representative as defined in 8 C.F.R. § 292.1(a)(4) will be given credit on the salary schedule for all immigration-related experience as an accredited representative, in accordance with Article 12, Section 3.

Accredited Representatives. 3.1 An accredited representative of a recognised trade union is an employee who is: ♦ A member of the national executive or other national committee of their organisation, or a representative of their organisation appointed by the national executive to serve on a national body, OR ♦ A local officer of a recognised trade union whose necessary duties are at local authority level, OR ♦ A local officer whose duties are at a lower level of an association within the area of the main remit of the local organisation, OR ♦ A representative whose duties will be limited to activities which are a necessary part of their duties for their organisation and its members within the department in which they are employed, OR ♦ appointed in accordance with the rules of the union, OR ♦ accredited by the union in accordance with the rules of the union, OR ♦ employed, in the same group, section or department as the people they represent. 3.2 It is accepted that in certain situations a representative may have responsibility for more than one of the functional levels. 3.3 There will normally be one representative in each department, however, in some circumstances it is accepted that more than one representative may be required. 3.4 Factors to take into account when considering representatives are, geographical distribution of the membership, total size of the membership, shift working, unsocial hours and weekend working. 3.5 The Trade Union undertake to ensure that all their representatives understand the extent of their authority and responsibility as representatives of their respective organisations.
Accredited Representatives. The provisions of this Agreement shall apply to accredited representatives of those staff side and professional organisations listed in section 6, above. Accredited representatives will be current employees of the Trust and will normally have had not less than 6 months’ service with the Trust or another NHS organisation. It shall be for staff side to determine an appropriate number of representatives, having regard for the size and location of its membership. It will be the responsibility of the appropriate Trade Union Lead to inform the Staff Side Chair of the appointment of any new representatives. The Staff Side Chair is responsible for notifying the Director of HR in writing of the appointment, resignation and replacement of representatives. Having received a written request for appointment, within a reasonable timescale, not exceeding 1 month, the Director of HR will inform the appropriate Divisional / Directorate / Head of Department Manager to advise of the appointment. Once confirmation of the appointment has been received by the Staff Side Chair from the Director of HR, s/he will inform the Trade Union Lead that the new representative may commence duties. It is for the Trade Union Lead to liaise with their representative. No employee shall be entitled to take time off to undertake staff side duties or training until their appointment has been formally recognised by the Director of HR. This will normally be done within 1 month, however in exceptional circumstances it may take longer.
Accredited Representatives. An accredited representative of a recognised teachers’ union is a teacher who is: a) A member of the Central Executive or other central committee of her/his union, or a representative of her/his union appointed by the Central Executive to serve on a central body; b) A member of a N.I. Regional Executive or other N.I. Committee of her/his union, or a representative of her/his union appointed by the N.I. Regional Executive to serve on a N.I. body; c) An official of such a union whose necessary official union duties are at an area board level; d) A school representative whose duties are limited to necessary activities for her/his union and its members within the school or schools for which s/he is responsible. In certain circumstances a representative may have responsibility for more than one of these functional levels. For their part the recognised teachers’ unions undertake to ensure that their accredited representatives locally understand the extent of their authority and responsibility as teachers’ representatives.
