ADDITIONAL DAY. 39.1. You are entitled to take an additional paid day off each calendar year. You can choose the timing of this day, subject to your manager’s approval and taking business and customer requirements into account. If you do not take this day within the calendar year, you lose it and it will not accrue. 39.2. If you have not taken your Additional Day by 1 October of the calendar year due to business requirements, then you may, with reasonable notice, choose a date to take this leave before the end of the calendar year. We will approve this date, subject to operational requirements. Where your chosen date cannot be accommodated, we will allow you to take an alternative date before the end of the calendar year. TELSTRA CORPORATION LIMITED (ABN 33 051 775 556) TELSTRA LIMITED ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2022-2024 SECTION 8: REDUNDANCY The following principles reflect the objectives of the Company about Redundancy, the Placement Period and Retrenchment: a) we may appoint an employee to perform another suitable role at any time prior to their employment ending in order to avoid the employee being retrenched; b) where retrenchments occur, the separation process will be fair and based on respect for the individual; c) while we recognise that employment security cannot be guaranteed, our objective is to provide access to job opportunities and reasonable retraining for employees within the Company, where the roles they perform are unlikely to be required on an ongoing basis; d) we will consider voluntary measures (such as requests for voluntary redundancies and voluntary swaps) in order to mitigate the effect of redundancies; e) we retain discretion about who is selected for retrenchment or appointed to another role, and will take into account various factors, including but not limited to the following: i) business requirements; ii) your skills and experience; iii) your likely ability to meet the requirements of any new role; iv) your preferences and career aspirations; and v) the location of any new role; f) we will consult with you and The Unions about redundancies as described in Section 6.
ADDITIONAL DAY. An employee shall be entitled to receive one additional day off work with pay per year for any six month period in that year during which the employee has worked every day of the period during his/her regular work shifts, without absence for any reason. This is non-accumulative time.
ADDITIONAL DAY. In consideration of the total time to be worked by the Engineers in a one (1) year period, the Company agrees to provide one additional day offto employees working on the eleven and one-half (1 hour schedule after one (1) full year has been worked. ADDITIONAL DAY. (a) Stramit permanent Employees are entitled to one additional day of leave per calendar year. The additional day can be taken on a day at the Employee's discretion, is non-cumulative, meaning it will not accrue if not taken within the calendar year and is unable to be cashed out. Any untaken additional day will not be paid on termination. (b) The Additional Day can be taken at a time agreed between Stramit and the employee. Subject to clause 26(d), Stramit will not unreasonably refuse a request for an Additional Day on Easter Tuesday if provided with at least 4 weeks’ notice. (c) To apply for the additional day, Employees are to provide Stramit with at least two weeks' notice and identify the leave they wish to take as "Additional Day Leave". (d) When considering an application for additional leave, the Employee’s manager will consider Stramit's operational requirements.
ADDITIONAL DAY. An additional day will be provided each year as a paid day off. The date of the additional day will be determined by the employer but in any case the employer will allow a limited number of employees (determined by operational needs) to take the day off on to attend the Picnic Day) . The additional day will not attract leave loading.
ADDITIONAL DAY. Where in the State of Victoria public holidays are declared or prescribed on days other than those set out above, those days will constitute additional holidays for the purpose of the Agreement.

ADDITIONAL DAY a) Warehouse Employees agree to take one day off in lieu of the additional day on a day nominated by the individual employee. b) Notwithstanding clause 39.8(a), should the business require the employee to work on the day nominated by the individual employee, then the parties shall renegotiate another day that is to the benefit of the business and the individual employee.
ADDITIONAL DAY. In additional to other leave entitlement, employees are entitled to an additional paid day. Employees required to work on the Additional Day due to the operational needs of the business will receive ordinary rates of pay and will be entitled to another day off in lieu to be taken at a time agreed to between the employer and employee and which is paid at normal rates and does not disrupt the business. Where- ever practicable and insofar as it does not disrupt the business’s operations. The day nominated for the Additional Day is to be a Tuesday.
