Administering Medication. No employee shall be required to administer medication to a student or be required to perform invasive procedures without proper training and/or appropriate supervision.

The District agrees to defend and indemnify a Bargaining Unit Member in accordance with the Political Subdivision Tort Claims Act, who, within the scope of her/his duties, administers medication to a student in accordance with District policy and as directed by the District, except in the case of a crime, actual fraud, actual malice or willful misconduct.

D. Prior training is provided with regard to medication protocol, equipment and procedures. Such training shall be provided at the Employer's expense within the teacher's regular duty day.
