Admissions Process. MATC shall administer the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) assessment test prior to pupil enrollment. a. Pupils scoring below a 7.9 grade level may be accepted for admittance into MATC AHS Readiness classes and also earn high school credits toward graduation; or b. Pupils scoring above a 7.9 grade level will be accepted into the classes earning Carnegie units toward graduation; or c. Pupils scoring above a 9.0 grade level, severely credit deficient, and are under seventeen years old will be accepted into the HSED Program.

The process for admission to the B.S. in Chemistry or B.S. in Biochemistry program can begin as early as the student's fourth term in the A.S. in General Science program although paperwork will not be submitted to the University Admissions Office until all requirements of the A.S. program have been officially completed. b. The steps in the process will be: i. Student indicates to the NTID A.S. in General Science program coordinator during the student's final term in the program an interest in entering the B.S. program in Chemistry or Biochemistry. ii. The A.S. program coordinator will review the student’s academic qualifications based on items listed in the “Student Qualifications for Transfer from the A.S. in General Science to the B.S. in Chemistry or Biochemistry” listed above. iii. If the student meets the qualifications listed, the A.S. program coordinator will contact the head of the School of Chemistry and Materials Science for review of the student's qualifications. 1. If necessary, the head will call a meeting with the student and the A.S. program coordinator to review the student's record and to discuss the B.S. program in which the student is interested in entering. iv. Upon review of the student's qualifications, the head of the School of Chemistry and Materials Science will inform the student and the A. S. program coordinator of the tentative acceptance decision. v. The A.S. program coordinator and the School head will complete an Intent to Enroll form and submit it to the NTID and RIT admissions offices for review and final approval. 1. If the Intent to Enroll form receives all required approvals, the NTID department chair will inform the student, the A.S. program coordinator, and the School head of the decision.

Admissions Process. The admission to the undergraduate credit transfer program is purely on merit and is the same as in other engineering undergraduate programmes. The eligibility conditions are the same as for regular undergraduate engineering programs offered by TIET. The students will be admitted in the IEP undergraduate programs in the branch available as per their merit at the time of exercising their choice at TIET. Admissions Process. Students may apply to the Program at the time they apply to BC or while a matriculated student in their first two years at BC. Applicants must meet all admissions criteria of BC. SGU application fees will be waived for applicants. BC applicants will be given fast track status and will be prioritized for review, interviews, processing, and decisions. SGU will provide a dedicated point of contact to service BC and its students during the application process. Upon receipt of applications, BC and SGU will consult to select suitable candidates, who meet the standards of BC and SGU, and formal interviews will be conducted by SGU. A provisional acceptance into SGU can only be made after an interview is conducted. In order to be eligible to proceed to the SGU School of Medicine in this program, students must maintain a cumulative and science grade point average (GPA) competitive with the incoming class average of 3.4 and 3.2, respectively, while enrolled at BC and obtain a competitive score on the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) within 5 points of the average MCAT score for entering students that year. Admission to the MD program requires a minimum score of 7.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (cumulative and part scores) or equivalent test. Applicants must demonstrate this minimum level of proficiency in English with a valid IELTS test result taken within the past two years. Students who have attended a North American university, or a university where English is the language of instruction, are typically waived from submitting IELTS exam scores. In addition to the above-referenced minimum GPA and MCAT requirements, an offer of admission to SGU’s School of Medicine, pursuant to this program, will only be made to qualified students who satisfy all respective SGU admissions requirements.
