Assignment Preference Sample Clauses

The Assignment Preference clause establishes the order or priority by which contractual rights or obligations may be assigned to third parties. Typically, this clause outlines which parties have the first opportunity to accept an assignment, such as giving preference to affiliates or designated entities before others can be considered. By clearly defining the hierarchy for assignment, the clause helps prevent disputes over who is entitled to receive an assignment and ensures that the parties’ preferences are respected, thereby maintaining control and predictability in the transfer of contractual interests.
