Bilingual Differential Pay. Practices of additional compensation for employees required to use a language other than English shall be in accordance with Section 4.84 of the LAAC. Upon certification of the employee's bilingual qualification by the Personnel Department, bilingual premium compensation shall be effective the date of the assignment to the bilingual position. Additional compensation is pensionable when regularly assigned and non-pensionable when assigned on a daily basis. MOU11-21
