CABLE SYSTEM DESIGN. Section 3.1 SUBSCRIBER NETWORK (a) No later than eighteen (18) months from the Execution Date of the Final License and provided that the Licensee is able to obtain underground permits in an expeditious manner, the Licensee shall construct, install, activate, operate and maintain, at its sole cost and expense, and make available to all residents of the Town, an eight hundred sixty Megahertz (860 MHz) Subscriber Network, fully capable and activated to have a minimum capacity equivalent to one hundred ten (110) NTSC video Downstream and four (4) NTSC video Upstream Channels. In the event that the Licensee cannot obtain underground permits in a timely manner, the Licensee shall have twenty-four (24) months from the Execution Date of the Final License to complete construction of the Subscriber Network. The Subscriber Network shall conform, at a minimum, to the "Technical Description of Subscriber Network for the Town of Lexington", attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and made a part hereof. (b) Upon activation of any segment of the Cable System, the Licensee shall activate and program a minimum of one hundred ten (110) unduplicated Downstream Channels (excluding broadcast network affiliate duplications) on the Subscriber Network, including the public, educational and governmental Access Channels. (c) Concurrent with the provision of Service to any Subscriber and/or User the Licensee shall install, and maintain throughout the term of the Final License, standby power at its (i) Headend, (ii) Hub facilities and (iii) throughout its Trunk, Feeder Line and Distribution System Such standby power shall provide continuous capability, contingent upon the availability of fuel necessary to operate the standby generators, and shall become automatically activated upon the failure of the Licensee's normal power supply. (d) The Licensee shall transmit all of its Signals to Lexington Subscribers in stereo, provided that such Signals are available and furnished to the Licensee in stereo. (e) The Subscriber Network shall have the capacity to carry advanced television and the so-called high-definition television Signals, when available to the Licensee. (f) The Licensee shall install, operate and maintain a Hub in the Town for the entire term of the Final License. (g) The Licensee commits to provide high-speed Internet access to its Subscribers concurrent with the availability to them of Cable Service.
CABLE SYSTEM DESIGN. It is the intent of the City that the Cable System provide the broadest range of services possible. In this regard, the requirements stated in this section are intended only as minimum specifications for the system and final determination of system design for Franchisees will be made through the initial licensing or renewal process. The City may increase or otherwise alter the requirements in an RFP for an initial franchise. Applicants are strongly encouraged to offer the City, through the Proposal process, the broadest range of services, facilities, equipment, technical assistance and other related considerations as technologically and economically feasible. Neither the specifications of the minimums in subsections (1) through (11) nor the final terms of a franchise agreement shall be interpreted to waive any rights or obligations of the Franchisee or the City under 47 U.S.C. §546.

At all times throughout the Renewal License, the Licensee shall meet all applicable FCC technical standards.   • System Use (a) An electronic site access system may be used on site, subject to the requirements of this statement. (b) The system operates via: (i) a facial recognition device; and (ii) an electronic gate. (c) The system will be installed at the access and egress point/s of the site and will only be utilised to identify presence on site. (d) The purpose for which the electronic site access system will be implemented is to ensure: (i) avoiding unauthorised access to site; (ii) confirmation and co-ordination of effort in emergency situations; and (iii) confirmation that all entrants to site have received a site specific induction; (e) The only personal data collected by the system is a site entrant’s: (i) image; (ii) first & last name; (iii) mobile phone number; (iv) email address; and (v) employer’s name. (the Collected Data) (f) The Collected Data will only be held or used for the purposes specified above, unless otherwise by consent or required by law. (g) The Employer will not use the electronic site access control system to verify who was on a site at a particular time for the purpose of: (i) evaluating whether a variation claim regarding labour costs made by a subcontractor can be substantiated; (ii) taking disciplinary action against an Employee, or assisting a subcontractor to take disciplinary action against its own employees, regarding their start and finish times; or (iii) otherwise generally tracking a worker’s movements whilst on the site.

  • System Upgrades The Connecting Transmission Owner shall procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. To the extent that design work is necessary in addition to that already accomplished in the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study for the Interconnection Customer, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall perform or cause to be performed such work. If all the Parties agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades. 5.2.1 As described in Section 32.3.5.3 of the SGIP in Attachment Z of the ISO OATT, the responsibility of the Interconnection Customer for the cost of the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement shall be determined in accordance with Attachment S of the ISO OATT, as required by Section 32.3.5.3.2

  • System Logging The system must maintain an automated audit trail which can 20 identify the user or system process which initiates a request for PHI COUNTY discloses to 21 CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY, 22 or which alters such PHI. The audit trail must be date and time stamped, must log both successful and 23 failed accesses, must be read only, and must be restricted to authorized users. If such PHI is stored in a 24 database, database logging functionality must be enabled. Audit trail data must be archived for at least 3 25 years after occurrence.

  • Program Design The County Human Resources Department will operate a Catastrophic Leave Bank which is designed to assist any County employee who has exhausted all paid accruals due to a serious or catastrophic illness, injury, or condition of the employee or family member. The program establishes and maintains a Countywide bank wherein any employee who wishes to contribute may authorize that a portion of his/her accrued vacation, compensatory time, holiday compensatory time or floating holiday be deducted from those account(s) and credited to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Employees may donate hours either to a specific eligible employee or to the bank. Upon approval, credits from the Catastrophic Leave Bank may be transferred to a requesting employee's sick leave account so that employee may remain in paid status for a longer period of time, thus partially ameliorating the financial impact of the illness, injury, or condition. Catastrophic illness or injury is defined as a critical medical condition, a long-term major physical impairment or disability which manifests itself during employment.
