CDL Training Clause Samples

The CDL Training clause outlines the requirements and provisions related to Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training for employees or contractors. Typically, this clause specifies who is responsible for providing or paying for the training, the standards or certifications required, and any obligations regarding completion timelines. For example, it may require an employer to cover the costs of CDL courses or mandate that drivers complete training before operating certain vehicles. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all relevant personnel are properly trained and licensed, thereby promoting safety and regulatory compliance.
