CHANGE OF HEADQUARTERS Clause Samples
A change-of-headquarters clause establishes the procedures and requirements for one party to relocate its principal place of business during the term of an agreement. Typically, this clause requires advance written notice to the other party and may specify how communications, service of process, or contractual obligations are affected by the move. Its core function is to ensure that both parties remain informed and that the contract remains enforceable and practical despite changes in business location, thereby preventing confusion or disruption in ongoing obligations.
