Cleaning Allowance. 20.1. The voucher system, for cleaning of uniforms that have been provided by the force, shall be equivalent to clean 180 units of uniform clothing per year. A unit shall be equivalent to the cost of the cleaning of one (1) shirt. (2003 AA)

A unit shall be equivalent to the cost of the cleaning of one (1) shirt. Vouchers shall be designated to be used for: (a) only uniform cleaning; or (b) either uniform or non-uniform cleaning. Members who are assigned to uniformed duties shall receive one hundred and ten (110) vouchers to be used for uniforms plus seventy (70) vouchers to be used for either uniform or non-uniform cleaning. Members assigned to non-uniformed duties shall receive one hundred and eighty (180) vouchers to be used for either uniform or non-uniform cleaning. (2003 AA)

Cleaning Allowance. 21.01 The Board will supply thirty-five (35) cleaning chits per year for the cleaning of uniforms if applicable, and two (2) chits per year for the cleaning of parkas or overcoats, if applicable. A cleaning outlet designated by the Board shall accept each chit as payment. 21.02 The allowance chits shall be issued in January of each year for all allowance entitlements. The amount shall be prorated for a member with less than twelve (12) months of service in the year.

Cleaning Allowance. Operators will receive on their pay cheques a cleaning and maintenance allowance of twelve dollars ($12.00) bi-weekly.

Cleaning Allowance. Each member who is required to wear a uniform shall be paid the sum of $250 per annum for the cleaning of his uniform. Payment for such sum shall be made in equal installments on the 15th day of June and the 15th day of December in each year. It is further understood and agreed that the cleaning allowance will be pro- rated where the member is absent from work due to illness, injury or suspension or if the member is absent from work as a result of approved leave of absence (which does not include approved vacation leave) for a period or periods of more than thirty consecutive calendar days during the calendar year.

Cleaning Allowance. All uniformed and plain clothed employees shall receive a cleaning allowance not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty ($350.00) Dollars per year, to be paid in two (2) equal installments. All appropriate taxes shall be taken from such payments.

Cleaning Allowance. Each employee shall be expected to keep their uniform neat, and clean as required by Department rules. The City shall assume the full cost of uniform dry cleaning for all full-time employees who are on regular duty and clothing of plain clothes detectives.

Cleaning Allowance. Arrangements acceptable to the County for the cleaning of uniforms, including plain-clothes employees' clothing, shall be made and supervised by the Sheriff or his designated representative. The cost of cleaning shall not exceed eight dollars ($8.00) per week per employee. The winter overcoat shall be properly cleaned and moth controlled each year in addition to the above cleaning allowance.
