The Community Representatives clause defines the role and responsibilities of individuals or groups designated to act on behalf of a broader community within an agreement. Community Representatives. 2.1 Five representatives will be elected on a five-yearly basis by the Parish Councils within the AONB to represent local interests within the Partnership. The opportunity to be a nominee will be widely advertised and each nominee will be required to put forward a formal nominations, together with a brief résumé of their interests relating to the AONB. Parish Councils will then be invited to indicate up to five preferences from amongst the nominations received. The five nominees receiving most votes will be elected. In the event of a tie, names will be drawn out of a hat. 2.2 The role of Parishes Representatives will be, in outline, to: a. Bring local perspectives and knowledge to Partnership meetings, Task Groups and network b. Be a good channel for communication between the Partnership and local communities - in both directions! c. Be an advocate for the work of the Partnership and encourage other people to get involved, and d. Community Representatives. Principal South Ayrshire Council produced a one year Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) for the period 2008-2009, the main focus of which was services delivered by the council. The Community Planning Partnership has developed a new Agreement for the period 2009 – 2012 which sets out key local outcomes, strategic objectives and targets relating to services delivered by all partner organisations. The new SOA reflects commitments made in both the Community Plan „A Better Future Together 2006-2010‟ and a vision statement for South Ayrshire „Securing the Future for South Ayrshire‟ prepared by the Council. Related to Community Representatives

  • City Representative The City will designate, prior to commencement of the work, its representative who shall make, within the scope of his or her authority, all necessary and proper decisions with reference to the services provided under this agreement. All requests concerning this agreement shall be directed to the City Representative.

  • Parties’ Representatives Both Parties shall ensure that throughout the term of this Agreement, a duly appointed Representative is available for communications between the Parties. The Representatives shall have full authority to deal with all day-to-day matters arising under this Agreement. If a Party’s Representative becomes unavailable, the Party shall promptly appoint another Representative. Acts and omissions of Representatives shall be deemed to be acts and omissions of the Party. Owner and CAISO shall be entitled to assume that the Representative of the other Party is at all times acting within the limits of the authority given by the Representative’s Party. Owner’s Representatives and CAISO’s Representatives shall be identified on Schedule J.

  • Safety Representative On every job site, workers may elect a Workers’ Safety Representative in accordance with the Act.

  • Union Representatives Upon mutual agreement of the parties, the number may be altered from time to time. Where a Union Representative commences on an extended leave of absence, the Union will endeavour to find a temporary replacement for the Union Representative from within the Home.

  • Association Representatives Authorized representatives of the Association shall be permitted to transact Association business on and with school property at all reasonable times provided that such activities shall not interfere with normal school operations.
