The Compensation Board clause establishes a designated group or committee responsible for determining, reviewing, and approving compensation matters within an organization. Compensation Board. The College shall maintain Workers' Compensation Board coverage for all employees. Where an employee is on a Claim recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board, the employee shall be entitled to leave, at his/her regular rate of salary, up to a maximum of one hundred twenty-six (126) days for any one claim. Where an employee elects to claim leave with pay under this clause, the Compensation payments received by the employee from the Workers' Compensation Board, shall be remitted to the College. There shall be no deduction from an employee's sick leave as a result of this clause.
Compensation Board. The Company shall notify the Worker’s Compensation Board of the impending production, comply with their regulations and inform the Union of same prior to the first day of pre-production as per provincial legislation.
Compensation Board. Where a permanent employee is on a claim recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board, which claim arose as a result of employment with the Employer, the employee shall be entitled to leave at his/her regular rate of pay, up to a maximum of the outstanding sick leave entitlement of the employee. Employees who so elect shall be deducted up to twenty-five percent (25%) of a day from their banked sick leave credits for each day on a Workers' Compensation Board claim until such time as the banked sick time is exhausted. Where an employee elects to claim leave with pay under this article, the compensation payable by the Workers' Compensation Board shall be remitted to the Employer.
Compensation Board. In the event the Company protests an employee's claim for a Workers' Compensation claim, the Company agrees to immediately advise the Union Staff Representative in writing with an outline of the reasons for the protest together with copies of any correspondence sent to the Workers' Compensation Board regarding the protest.

Compensation Board. An employee shall be granted injury-on-duty leave at seventy-five percent (75%) of her pay for the period of time approved by a Provincial Workers' Compensation Board that she is unable to perform her duties or any available work because of:
Compensation Board. 28.01 When an employee is unable to work as a result of an injury and/or illness incurred in the course of the employee’s duties, the employee shall immediately inform the Company so that a claim for Compensation benefits can be forwarded to the Workers Compensation Board. Any available information required by the Workers Compensation Board from the Company shall be provided by the Company immediately.
28.02 An employee injured in an accident while at work, having to leave work because of the injury and qualifying for Workers Compensation benefits as a result of the injury but not compensated by Workers Compensation for the wages lost on the day of the injury shall be paid by the Company for the hours they would otherwise have worked on the day of the injury had they not been injured.
Compensation Board. If the supervisor's disability is approved for compensation, sick leave days will be restored according to the following formula: Total workers compensation benefits divided by average daily pay rate equals sick leave days to be reimbursed. A supervisor approved for a workers compensation award will be permitted to participate in the health, dental, and prescription drug insurance program on the contract shared basis with the district (80/20 family, 90/10 individual) up to a maximum of 15 months from the beginning date of the award. If an individual continues on workers compensation beyond fifteen (15) months, the health insurance premium will be shared 50/50 during the remaining time of the award.
Compensation Board. The Employer agrees to apply for coverage under the Workers' Compensation for all days incapacitated due to an accident on the job. Sick leave shall be applicable only to that portion of the employee's time for which they are not compensated by Workers' Compensation.
