Consecutive Shifts. (a) The Employer will endeavour, where possible, to provide that no employee is scheduled to work more than seven (7) consecutive days in a two (2) week period. This does not preclude shift arrangements, acceptable to both the Employer and the employee(s), in variance to the foregoing. (b) Subject to the limitations of Article 14.03, the Employer shall provide that no employee is scheduled to work more than five (5) consecutive evening shifts or five (5) consecutive night shifts in a two (2) week period. This does not preclude shift arrangements requested by the employee, in writing, acceptable to both the Employer and the employee(s) in variance to the foregoing.
