The Continuance of Contract clause ensures that the agreement remains in effect even if certain events occur that might otherwise disrupt its operation. Typically, this clause specifies that the contract will continue to be binding despite changes such as the transfer of ownership, mergers, or the assignment of rights and obligations. Continuance of Contract. It shall be the responsibility of the administration to notify a contract employee (non-probationary) and the Human Resources Department no later than April 15, if the employee is not to be recommended for re-employment.

(b) Prior to the resolution of a Dispute, the parties must continue to perform their respective obligations in this agreement insofar as those obligations are not the subject matter of the Dispute.
