CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN PARTIES Clause Samples
The "Correspondence Between Parties" clause defines the rules and procedures for how parties to an agreement must communicate with each other regarding matters related to the contract. Typically, this clause specifies acceptable methods of communication, such as email, postal mail, or courier, and may require that notices be sent to designated addresses or contacts. It often outlines when a notice is considered received, which can affect deadlines and obligations. The core function of this clause is to ensure that all parties have a clear, agreed-upon process for exchanging important information, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes about whether proper notice was given.
