Crane operator. Employees must hold approved qualification/experience that is recognised and utilised by the Company. This includes mobile cranes or excavators used to move items recovered from the offshore asset on the deck of a vessel or barge.
Crane operator. This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of crane operation experience, with all certifications current and documented. The ultimate role of this person is to safely execute the lift in a controlled and safe manner as directed by signalman.
Crane operator. In the case of a crane operator working for any employer other than an employer specialized in crane leasing and pile driving, the application of Subsection 1) shall be interpreted taking into account that such hours are consecutive working hours.

When the distance be- tween the employee’s residence and the job site is 300 or more kilometres, the compen- sation specified in Article 23.09 4) a) shall also be payable for the day preceding the first day of work when the employee must travel and obtain room and board on the day before he reports to work. This com- pensation is only payable once per job site and per employer. This special rule applies also when an employee is called back to work on the same job site following layoff, except in the case of a compulsory annual vacation.

Crane operator. Utility Plant Mechanic I/II, Senior Utility Plant Mechanic and Utility Plant Workers who possess and maintain a valid Crane Operator certification shall receive a 5.0% of base pay differential. CalPERS makes the final determination of the reportable status of this pay. Currently it is PERS reportable under Section 571 of the California Public Employees’ Retirement Law (PERL) for Classic and PEPRA members.

(a) Engineers sent to a jobsite by Local 324 where Engineers are required to be certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) by the owner employing the contractor must have successfully completed the Crane Operator Certification as of June 1, 2004; Engineers will also maintain a valid certification.
(b) All Engineers operating cranes on general construction work with boom and jib qualifying for long boom classifications shall be paid according to current wage schedules as shown in Section 27 of the collective bargaining agreement.
(c) Employees operating Tower Cranes shall be paid the crane operator rate determined by the combined length of the mast and the boom. In addition, the Engineer will receive twenty-five cents ($.25) per hour more than the applicable Crane Operator rate if he must climb fifty (50) feet or more to his work station.
