CUPE Representative Clause Samples

CUPE Representative. The Union shall have the right to have the assistance of a representative of the Canadian Union of Public Employees from Step No. 2 of the Grievance Procedure and at other negotiations with the Employer. Such representative shall have access to the premises of the Employer in order to examine conditions or interview employees, providing that such examination or interview does not unreasonably disturb the operations of the Employer.
CUPE Representative. It is agreed that a representative of C.U.P.E. may be present at all stages of the grievance and arbitration procedures if requested by either party.
CUPE Representative. The employer shall inform the Union President of all new employees upon their commencement of employment. Upon receipt of notification, the Union may provide the employee with a Union information package.
CUPE Representative. The Union shall have the right to have the assistance of a representative of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when negotiating with the Board.
CUPE Representative. The Union shall have the right at any time to consult with representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when discussing Union matters with the Employer. With notification to the Employer, such representatives shall have access to the Employer’s premises in order to deal with any matters arising out of this Collective Agreement.
CUPE Representative. The Employer agrees that access to its premises will be granted to representatives of the Union and the Canadian Union of Public Employees when dealing or negotiating with the Employer, as well as for the purpose of investigating and assisting in the settlement of a grievance. Representatives of the Union and the Canadian Union of Public Employees shall give reasonable advance notice to the Employer of their intention to enter, and shall not interfere with the department or section concerned.

CUPE Representative. The Union shall have the right to have the assistance of a CUPE representative when negotiating or dealing with the Agency. The CUPE representative will require verbal permission from any member of the Agency’s management group to access the Agency’s premises on Union business. Such access shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Exclusive Representative Representatives of the Association, or other persons, having written authorization from the ASF Member concerned, may examine, under university supervision, the official file of that ASF Member, except for the limitation provided in Section B. hereof.

  • Nurse Representatives The Employer agrees to recognize two (2) Nurse Representatives for the purpose of dealing with grievances and conducting Union interviews.

  • Employee Representative The employee may choose someone to represent him or her at any step in the procedure. No person hearing a grievance need recognize more than one representative for any employee at any one time, unless he or she so desires.

  • Grievance Representatives Within 30 working days after the execution of this Agreement, the Union shall furnish the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ with a list of all persons authorized to act as the Chapter and UPI Local Grievance Representatives and shall update the list as changes occur. The designated Chapter Grievance Representative shall be an employee of the University and shall have the responsibility to meet classes, office hours, and other assigned duties and responsibilities. If the responsibilities of the Chapter Grievance Representative require rescheduling of the representative's University duties, the representative may, with the approval of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, arrange for the rescheduling of such duties or their coverage by colleagues. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. The provisions of Article 15.4. shall also apply to the UPI Local Grievance Representative if he or she is an employee of the University.

  • Authority of the Representative Any action by the Underwriters hereunder may be taken by the Representative on behalf of the Underwriters, and any such action taken by the Representative shall be binding upon the Underwriters.
