Curriculum and Assessments. Summit Learning will provide access to the Base Curriculum (the “Base Curriculum”), which will include projects, playlists of content, and assessments from which the Partner School can build upon and modify in order to meet the needs of their communities, district and/or state. The Base Curriculum includes standards-based curricula and assessments for English, math, science, and social studies (grades 4–12) and a sampling of additional elective courses.
Curriculum and Assessments. The Creative Curriculum for Preschool will be utilized within the classroom to implement the state preschool education requirement as a foundation for the child’s successful transition to and participation in the primary school program. The Creative Curriculum is based on developmentally appropriate practices for preschool aged children and incorporates the latest research and best practices, and allows for individualization based upon a child’s developmental level. Children will be screened using the Dial 4 instrument within 45 days of enrollment. Teaching Strategies Gold will be utilized for the ongoing assessment of student progress, student outcomes will be pulled three times annually and family conferences held at this time.
Curriculum and Assessments. Charter School agrees to provide a plan for meeting measurable student outcomes and demonstrating student improvement subject to the same state accountability standards and assessments as non-charter public schools. The Charter School shall meet all statewide standards and conduct pupil assessments pursuant to Education Code Section 60605 and any other mandated statewide standards authorized in statute or pupil assessments applicable to pupils in non-charter public schools. Charter School agrees to annually administer all of the current statewide mandated performance assessments including CAASPP, ELPAC and Physical Fitness testing. Results of such statewide assessments shall be made available on request by PVSD. The Charter School will use multiple assessment measures to help prepare students for the California statewide mandated assessments. 2. The Charter School’s Board of Directors shall be responsible for operating the Charter School in conformance with the provisions of the approved charter and this MOU. The Charter School Board of Directors shall provide written notice to PVSD Superintendent of all Charter School Board of Director’s vacancies or any other changes in the Charter School’s Board’s membership immediately upon the occurrence of the vacancy or change in Board membership. 3. All of the Charter School’s textbooks and other instructional materials shall be selected based on California State textbook adoptions, teaching strategies and techniques, assessment procedures and input from advisory groups. The Charter School shall ensure that students are provided with sufficient instructional materials as defined by Education Code Section 60119(c) including adequate textbooks and computers with sufficient software programs and training. The determination regarding the ordering of instructional materials shall be made by the Charter School administrator in collaboration with teaching staff. PVSD may request an inventory of such materials at any time or visit the Charter School’s sites to inventory the sufficiency under Education Code Section 60119(c) of the Charter School’s instructional materials. 4.   • Screening and Assessment Grantee shall: 1. Comply with all applicable rules in the TAC for SUD programs as stated in the SUD UM Guidelines Information, Rules, and Regulations regarding Screening and Assessment. 2. When documenting a CMBHS Substance Use Disorder screening, Grantee shall conduct the screening in a confidential, face-to-face interview unless there is documented justification for an interview by phone. 3. Document Financial Eligibility in CMBHS as required in the SUD UM Guidelines. 4. Conduct and document a CMBHS SUD Initial Assessment with the client to determine the appropriate levels of care for SUD treatment. The CMBHS assessment will identify the impact of substances on the physical, mental health, and other identified issues including Tuberculosis, Hepatitis C, sexually transmitted infection (STI), and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). i. If client indicates risk for these communicable diseases, Grantee shall refer the client to the appropriate community resources for further testing and counseling. ii. If the client is at risk for HIV, Grantee shall refer the client to pre and post- test counseling on HIV. 5. Grantee will also consider referring to the TRA Statewide HIV Intensive Residential Treatment facility to concurrently address medical needs and SUD. 6. If a client is living with HIV, Grantee will refer the client to the appropriate community resources to complete the necessary referrals and health related paperwork. 7. The assessment shall be signed by a Qualified Credential Counselor (QCC) and filed in the client record within three (3) service days of admission or a program may accept an evaluation from an outside entity if it meets the criteria for admission and was completed during the thirty (30) business days preceding admission.

  • UNION DUES AND ASSESSMENTS (a) The Employer shall, as a condition of employment, deduct from the wages or salary of each employee in the bargaining unit, whether or not the employee is a member of the Union, the amount of the regular dues payable to the Union by a member of the Union. (b) The Employer shall deduct from each employee, who is a member of the Union, any assessments levied in accordance with the Union's Constitution and Bylaws and owing by the employee to the Union. (c) Deductions shall be made for each biweekly payroll period and membership dues or payments in lieu thereof shall be considered owing in the period for which they are so deducted. (e) Before the Employer is obligated to deduct any amount under (a) or (b) above, the Union must advise the Employer in writing of the amount of its regular dues. The amount so advised shall continue to be the amount to be deducted until changed by further written notice to the Employer signed by the President of the Union. Upon receipt of such notice, such changed amount shall be the amount deducted. (f) From the date of the signing of this Agreement and for its duration, no employee organization other than the Union shall be permitted to have membership dues or other moneys deducted by the Employer from the pay of the employees in the bargaining unit. (g) The Employer shall supply each employee, without charge, a receipt for income tax purposes in the amount of the deductions paid to the Union by the employee in the previous year. (h) An employee shall, as a condition of continued employment, complete an authorization form providing for the deduction from an employee's wages or salary, the amount of the regular dues payable to the Union by a member of the Union.

  • Ergonomic Assessments ‌ At the request of the employee, the Employer will ensure that an ergonomic assessment of the employee’s workstation is completed. Solutions to identified issues will be implemented within available resources.

  • Taxes and Assessments As of the date of origination and, to the Mortgage Loan Seller’s knowledge, as of the Cut-off Date, all taxes, governmental assessments and other outstanding governmental charges (including, without limitation, water and sewage charges) due with respect to the Mortgaged Property (excluding any related personal property) securing a Mortgage Loan that is or could become a lien on the related Mortgaged Property that became due and owing prior to the Cut-off Date with respect to each related Mortgaged Property have been paid, or, if the appropriate amount of such taxes or charges is being appealed or is otherwise in dispute, the unpaid taxes or charges are covered by an escrow of funds or other security sufficient to pay such tax or charge and reasonably estimated interest and penalties, if any, thereon. For purposes of this representation and warranty, any such taxes, assessments and other charges shall not be considered due and payable until the date on which interest and/or penalties would be payable thereon.
