Common use of Daily Guarantee Clause in Contracts

Daily Guarantee. (a) Subject to the provisions of Subsection (c), an employee reporting for a scheduled shift on the call of the Corporation, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (b) Subject to the provisions of Subsection (c), an employee other than a school student on a school day who commences work on a scheduled shift, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (c) In any case where an employee: (i) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or (ii) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (a) and (b).

Daily Guarantee. (c) In any case where an employee: employee (i) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or or (ii) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (aSections 8.5(a) and (b8.5(b).

(ciii) In any case where an employee: (i) employee reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or (ii) or commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (ai) and (bii).

(b2) Subject to the provisions of Subsection (c)paragraph 3) below, an employee a Full-Time Employee other than a school student on a school day who commences work on a scheduled shift, shift shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (c3) In any case where an employee: (i) a Full-Time Employee reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or (ii) or commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (a1) and (b2).

(c) In any case where an employee: employee (i) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or or (ii) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (aSections 8.6(a) and (b8.6(b).

(c) In any case where an employee: (i) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or (ii) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (a) and (b).

Daily Guarantee. (a) Subject to the provisions of Subsection paragraph (c), an employee reporting for a scheduled shift on the call of the CorporationEmployer, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (b) Subject to the provisions of Subsection paragraph (c), an employee other than a school student on a school day who commences work on a scheduled shift, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. Subject to provision of paragraph (c), the Daily Guarantee shall be reduced from four (4) hours to two (2) hours for Regular Part-Time and Auxiliary Employees when attending staff meetings and/or training sessions to a maximum of six (6) occasions per employee per year. (c) In any case where an employee: employee (i) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or or (ii) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections paragraphs (a) and (b).

Daily Guarantee. (a) Subject to the provisions of Subsection subsection (c), an employee reporting for a scheduled shift on the call of the CorporationEmployer, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (b) Subject to the provisions of Subsection subsection (c), an employee other than a school student on a school day day, (i.e. those who attend a recognized educational institution in B.C.), who commences work on a scheduled shift, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' hours pay at the regular hourly rate. (c) In any case where an employee: (i1) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or (ii2) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections subsections (a) and (b).

(b) Subject to the provisions of Subsection (cClause 6.4(c), an employee other than a school student on a school day who commences work on a scheduled shift, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (c) In any case where an employee: employee (i) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or or (ii) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (aClause 6.4(a) and (b6.4(b).

Daily Guarantee. (a) Subject to the provisions of Subsection (cSection 8.5(c), an employee reporting for a scheduled shift on the call of the Corporation, Board shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (b) Subject to the provisions of Subsection (cSection 8.5(c), an employee other than a school student on a school day who commences work on a scheduled shift, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (c) In any case where an employee: employee (i) reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or or (ii) commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (aSections 8.5(a) and (b8.5(b).

Daily Guarantee. (ai) Subject to the provisions of Subsection paragraph (c)iii) below, an employee reporting for a scheduled shift on the call of the CorporationEmployer, shall receive the employee's their regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours' ’ pay at the regular hourly rate. (bii) Subject to the provisions of Subsection paragraph (c)iii) below, an employee employee, other than a school student on a school day day, who commences work on a scheduled shift, shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' ’ pay at the regular hourly rate. (ciii) In any case where an employee: (i) employee reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or (ii) or commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (ai) and (bii).

Subject to the provisions of Subsection paragraph (c)iii) below, an employee a Full-Time Employee reporting for a scheduled shift on the call of the CorporationEmployer, shall receive the employee's their regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (b) ii. Subject to the provisions of Subsection paragraph (c)iii) below, an employee a Full-Time Employee other than a school student on a school day who commences work on a scheduled shift, shift shall receive the employee's regular hourly rate of pay for the entire period spent at the place of work, with a minimum of four (4) hours' pay at the regular hourly rate. (c) iii. In any case where an employee: (i) a Full-Time Employee reports for a regular shift but refuses to commence work, or (ii) or commences work but refuses to continue working, the employee shall not be entitled to receive the minimum payments set forth in Subsections (ai) and (bii).
