Days and Hours of Service. Contractor will provide such services Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, provided, however, that a return trip from a hospital or doctor’s office only will be provided by Contractor after 7:00 p.m. when the trip to the hospital or doctor’s office occurred before 6:30 p.m. the same day. Service will not be provided on the following holidays: New Year’s Day (January 1), Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving Day (4th Thursday in November) and Christmas Day (December 25).

The extra day(s) shall be scheduled within the one (1) week period prior to the fall or spring semester. For any day(s) scheduled prior to fall semesters, the unit member shall be so notified by June 1st. For any day(s) scheduled before spring semesters, the unit member shall be so notified at least twenty (20) work days prior to the scheduled days. The unit members scheduled to work shall be paid on a pro rata basis of his/her daily rate (annual salary divided by number of days of service). The number of half days scheduled shall not exceed two (2).

Service outside contracted Maintenance Service Agreement hours is provided on a best effort basis and at prevailing SMC per call rates. This Maintenance Service Agreement covers service during SMC's normal working hours, usually 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday C.S.T. Extended hours and priority response time may be available depending upon location of service capabilities.

The online portion of workload is calculated weekly. For Counseling unit members, 40% on campus is limited to student contact hours. Status quo, however, we are willing to assign teaching and non- teaching overload to non-teaching faculty. In recognition of the duties outlined below. The district proposes a stipend for every fully completed semester of $2,500.00 for each full-time Associate Degree Nursing teaching faculty member. • Work hours that vary from contractual obligations including but not limited to weekends, nights, and clinical shifts greater that nine (9) hours in length. In the event that a unit member goes on light duty due to illness, injury, or other extenuating circumstances, the $2,500 stipend will be prorated on a daily basis commensurate with the length of time of said light duty. Days and Hours of Service. Service for both ADA and non-ADA trips is available seven days per week between the hours of 4 am and 1 am. Days and hours of service may be amended by mutual consent of the parties to this agreement.
