Deliverables Warranty Clause Samples
A Deliverables Warranty clause establishes that the products, services, or work provided under a contract will meet specified standards of quality, performance, and compliance. Typically, this clause requires the provider to guarantee that deliverables are free from defects, conform to agreed-upon specifications, and do not infringe on third-party rights for a certain period after delivery. For example, if a software developer delivers an application, the warranty may cover bug fixes or security vulnerabilities discovered within a set timeframe. The core function of this clause is to protect the recipient by ensuring they receive deliverables that are fit for purpose and to provide recourse if the deliverables fail to meet contractual expectations.
