Effectiveness Rating. 1. Teachers are assigned an effectiveness rating of Accomplished, Skilled, Developing or Ineffective. This rating will be determined based on 50% teacher performance and 50% student growth measures. Student growth will be determined through multiple measures. 2. Annually, the Board submits to the Ohio Department of Education, the number of teachers assigned an effectiveness rating, aggregated by the teacher preparation programs from which, and the years in which, the teachers graduated. The name of, or any personally identifiable information about any teacher reported in compliance with this provision cannot be required unless mandated by law and/or Ohio Department of Education regulations.

The final summative evaluation level that is assigned to a teacher will be based on the holistic review of all Evaluation Factors, observed during the Evaluation Cycle. This rating will be determined based on the percentage of teacher performance and student growth measures established by law. Student growth will be determined through multiple measures. Annually, the Board submits to the Ohio Department of Education, the number of teachers assigned an effectiveness rating, aggregated by the teacher preparation programs from which, and the years in which, the teachers and counselors graduated. The name of, or any personally identifiable information about, any teacher reported in compliance with this provision cannot be required.
Effectiveness Rating. Teachers and School Counselors are assigned an effectiveness rating of Accomplished, Skilled, Developing, or Ineffective. This rating will be based on a combination of informal and formal observations and supporting evidence using the Teacher Evaluation Rubric. Each school counselor is evaluated based on multiple factors including performance on all areas identified by the standards for school counselors and the ability to produce positive student outcomes using metrics in order to determine the holistic final summative rating of effectiveness according to ODE requirements. The choice of metrics for student outcomes will be determined locally and will include information from the school or school district’s report card when appropriate.
Effectiveness Rating. (a) The evaluation procedure contained in this agreement shall not be the primary factor in any decision concerning any teacher until three (3) evaluation cycles have been completed and include three (3) consecutive years of the Final Summative Rating. (b) The first year of collected data for the evaluation procedure shall be derived from value-added taken from the previous school year. The first evaluation cycle shall be completed by the first day of May of the second school year following the effective date of this agreement. An evaluation cycle shall not be completed until all teachers have been provided with a written report of the results of the evaluation. (c) Until three (3) years of data have been collected and three (3) evaluation cycles have been completed, all decisions concerning any teacher shall continue to be governed by the terms set forth in this agreement. (d) The evaluation procedure shall not be used for any decision concerning the assignment, re- assignment, or transfer of any teacher. (e) Final Summative Rating of Teacher Effectiveness form will be completed once the evaluation process is complete.

Fifty percent (50%) of the evaluation will be based on teacher performance and fifty-percent (50%) will be based on student growth measures. 3. Teacher Performance and Student Growth Measures ratings will be combined to reach the summative teacher effectiveness rating. 4. The parties recognize that the Board of Education is obligated to submit to the ODE the number of teachers for whom an evaluation was conducted and the number teachers assigned each effectiveness rating. However, teachers’ names and any other personally identifiable information shall not be reported to the ODE.

  • Effectiveness of Registration Statement The Registration Statement, including any Rule 462(b) Registration Statement, has become effective and at Closing Time no stop order suspending the effectiveness of the Registration Statement shall have been issued under the 1933 Act or proceedings therefor initiated or threatened by the Commission, and any request on the part of the Commission for additional information shall have been complied with to the reasonable satisfaction of counsel to the Underwriters. A prospectus containing the Rule 430A Information shall have been filed with the Commission in accordance with Rule 424(b) (or a post-effective amendment providing such information shall have been filed and declared effective in accordance with the requirements of Rule 430A) or, if the Company has elected to rely upon Rule 434, a Term Sheet shall have been filed with the Commission in accordance with Rule 424(b).
