Emergency Preparedness. Contractor agrees to assist County in emergency planning and response by proving County client specific information, as requested by County.

Emergency Preparedness. All residents are advised to have an emergency plan. The university does not maintain supply kits and as such, each resident should maintain an emergency supply kit consisting of a first aid kit, a three-day supply of water, non-perishable food, battery-operated radio and flashlight, extra batteries, gloves, and medications.

Emergency Preparedness. Faculty have a responsibility to know and understand College safety procedures in each classroom where they teach and each office where they work. They also have a responsibility to enact those procedures in a drill or real event to the best of their ability without endangering their own lives. a. Faculty will participate in drills and exercises during regular teaching hours. b. Faculty will ensure that accurate and up to date contact information is provided to the College for emergency alert purposes. Faculty are encouraged to opt into the Triton Alert communication system. c. Pursuant to current rules and regulations applicable to the College, the administration will make available the requisite training and support regarding emergency preparedness. Inquiries into current rules and regulations may be directed to the office of Safety, Security and Emergency Preparedness.

It is recommended that Licensee maintain an emergency supply kit in the room consisting of a first aid kit, three-day supply of water, non-perishable food, battery operated radio and flashlight, extra batteries, gloves, and medications. Licensee is responsible for understanding the evacuation instructions located in the University Housing facilities. Emergency Preparedness. The Association shall be consulted regarding any new or changed Emergency Preparedness Policy, including but not limited to Fire or Bomb Threat, which requires that Members take any action other than standard evacuation procedures. Any protocols developed shall put safety as the highest priority.

Emergency Preparedness. Lessee agrees to be responsible for maintaining an emergency preparedness program for Lessee. Lessee shall not rely on State to provide food or supplies during a local or area wide disaster. State will, if time and material allow, assist Lessee during a disaster.

Contractor shall maintain written procedures to provide for the continued operation of the program in the event of an employee work stoppage, emergency, or disaster. The procedures shall include, but not be limited to: assignment of tasks and responsibilities, instructions for the use of alarm systems, notification of authorities, use of special emergency equipment, and specifications of escape routes and procedures. The emergency evacuation routes shall be posted at highly visible locations and explained to each new offender at orientation. The Facility shall conduct and maintain documentation of quarterly drills and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster procedures.

These plans must be approved by Department.

Emergency Preparedness. A. Each facility shall have an emergency preparedness plan. This plan will publish the chain of command, which will identify a member of SSA management or designee who will be physically present for employee direction during all scheduled work hours in each permanent installation. The plan will also cover employee procedures in the event of fire, earthquake, bomb threat, tornado, flood, or similar emergency. Evacuation drills will be conducted semiannually. B. The Employer agrees that the first concern when an employee is injured on the job is to make certain that he/she gets prompt emergency medical aid. Doubts over whether medical attention is necessary will be resolved in favor of arranging medical aid. C. When it is necessary to assist an employee to return home because of illness or incapacitation or to provide transportation to a medical facility, the Employer will assist the employee in arranging for such transportation. D. The Employer agrees to maintain adequate first aid supplies at each permanent installation. All employees will have reasonable access to these supplies. E. The December 9, 2003, Shelter In place MOU is incorporated into this Agreement.
