EMPLOYEE INDUCTION. 11.1 All persons before commencing work on the site will attend and successfully complete a Site Induction Programme (SIP). The SIP will explain safety rules and regulations, site requirements and the application of this Agreement. 11.2 The SIP will be conducted at a central location provided for by the Company. The Company reserves the right to alter the duration of the programme and to conduct further and/or refresher programmes where necessary. 11.3 Each employee shall receive a Site Safety/House Rules Booklet and a copy of this Agreement. All employees on receipt of the booklet/Agreement, will acknowledge in writing their obligations to understand the booklet/Agreement contents and requirements and abide by them. 11.4 After successful completion of the SIP, each employee will be issued with a Personal Site Identification Pass (PSIP), which will allow entry and exit from the site. 11.5 The PSIP may also be used as a personal ID when requisitioning tools and/or materials and for time keeping purposes and for any other reasonable purposes that the Company may from time to time require. 11.6 All employees after successfully completing the induction will, where relevant, receive a written letter of offer of employment, which amongst other things, will contain their employment status as per Clause 12, and their regular pattern of required working hours.

The SIP will explain safety rules and regulations, site policies and other requirements and the application and responsibilities of this Agreement. 12.2 The SIP will be conducted at a central location provided for by the Company. The Company reserves the right to alter the duration of the Program and to conduct further and/or refresher programs. 12.3 All employees shall receive documentation on, but not limited to: Site Safety, Site Policies, Transfield House Rules & Employee Fitness for Work policy & procedures and a copy of this Agreement. All employees on receipt of the documentation will acknowledge in writing their obligations to understand and comply with the contents. 12.4 After successful completion of the SIP each employee where required by the Company will be issued with a Personal Site Identification Pass (PSIP). Entry to any work site will be by lawful means only, and if the owner of the work site has any other lawful means of security screening before entry to the site is permitted or for timekeeping recording purposes, then the employees of the Company will comply with such reasonable requirements. The Company reserves the right to change or modify the PSIP. 12.5 The PSIP may also be used as personal identification for security purposes or for the requisitioning of tools and/or materials.

EMPLOYEE INDUCTION. Each employee will undergo an induction program when commencing employment. This induction program will provide each employee with details of the requirements of their position. It is the responsibility of the employee to ensure that these requirements are met. Employees who are involved in any employment or business activity in addition to their employment with the Berri Barmera Council are required to declare this activity. When an employee is about to commence additional employment or a business activity, the approval of the Chief Executive Officer is required. EMPLOYEE INDUCTION. 27.01 The Company will provide each new employee on the date of hire with a list of Union officers, Stewards and Safety Committee members in accordance with information provided by the Union. 27.02 The Company agrees to extend to the Union Safety Chair and Union Grievance Chair (or designates), the op- portunity to participate in the induction of new employees, It is recognized by both Parties that the time involved in this process by the Safety Chair and the Grievance Chair will be covered by Article 9.20 and Addendum A.

All Employees on receipt of the documentation will acknowledge in writing their obligations to understand the contents of the documentation and abide by them. 11.4 After successful completion of the SIP, each Employee, at the Company’s discretion, may be issued with a Personal Site Identification Pass (PSIP) which will allow entry to and exit from the site. 11.5 The PSIP may also be used as a personal ID when requisitioning tools and/or materials and for time keeping purposes. 11.6 The Company will, as part of new Employee inductions, make opportunity for new Employees to be introduced to the local union delegates. The purpose of these introductions is to make new Employees aware of union representation within the workplace and explain the terms and conditions of this Agreement. 11.7 All Employees will be paid 2 hours at the C10 ordinary rate for the completion of the online Inductions. This will be paid to the Employee in their first pay after their commencement date.

All employees on receipt of the documentation will acknowledge in writing their obligations to understand and comply with the contents of the various documentation. 12.4 After successful completion of the SIP each employee may be issued with a Personal Site Identification Pass (PSIP), or some other lawful means of identification which the employee will be required to use for entry &exit purposes to the site, and have displayed or kept on their apparel at all times during working hours. The PSIP may also be used as a personal ID when requisitioning tools and/or materials and for time keeping purposes.
