Evidence of Coverage and Notice to County Sample Clauses

The "Evidence of Coverage and Notice to County" clause requires a party, typically a contractor or service provider, to provide proof of insurance coverage to the county before commencing work. This is usually accomplished by submitting certificates of insurance or other documentation that demonstrate compliance with the county's insurance requirements, and may also include an obligation to notify the county if the coverage is altered or canceled. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the county is protected from potential liabilities and is promptly informed of any changes in insurance status, thereby managing risk and maintaining transparency.
