Fire Detection and Suppression Sample Clauses
The Fire Detection and Suppression clause establishes requirements for installing and maintaining systems that identify and control fires within a property or facility. Typically, this clause mandates the use of smoke detectors, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems, and may specify standards for their inspection, testing, and upkeep. Its core practical function is to minimize fire-related risks by ensuring early detection and rapid response, thereby protecting occupants, property, and business operations from fire damage.
Fire Detection and Suppression. Automatic fire detection and suppression equipment have been installed to reduce risk and damage to data center environments.
Fire Detection and Suppression. The fire detection system shall be a cross-zoned smoke detection system linked to a fire alarm control panel (sub-system to the building fire alarm control system). The fire suppression protection systems for a Hub shall either be a pre-action system if water is available in the building, or a FM-200 gaseous system. The design of the fire detection and suppression system shall comply with the requirements of the State Building Codes, applicable NFPA Sections and requirements of the insurance carrier for the project.
Fire Detection and Suppression. The Site is equipped with:
a) a high sensitivity smoke alarm system;
b) gas suppression system, e.g. FM200
c) pre-action sprinkler system, which has a two-stage activation system to ensure equipment is protected against false alarms d) monitoring and alarm equipment; and
Fire Detection and Suppression. Licensor shall maintain a very early smoke detection system and a double interlock pre-action and detection system in the Building. In addition, Licensor shall provide and maintain fire extinguishers in the Building, including clean agent extinguishers for use in “mission critical” portions of the Building, as determined by Licensor. Licensee acknowledges that it has reviewed and approved the smoke detection and fire suppression systems prior to the date hereof.
Fire Detection and Suppression. Rackspace data centers are equipped with sophisticated fire detection and suppression systems. The objective is to prevent and suppress potential causes of fires through the use of early detection systems. In the event of an actual fire, Rackspace utilizes advanced fire suppression systems to suppress fire. Remedy: In the event that Rackspace security measures materially fail to meet the physical security standards set forth in section 1.1.3 above, and such failure directly and adversely affects Customer’s hosted configuration, Customer is entitled to a [**] credit in the amount of $[**].
Fire Detection and Suppression. Changes to fire detection and suppression systems including routine upgrades and modifications to fire alarm systems, smoke detectors, and sprinkler systems. • General clean-up, encapsulation, and removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials from buildings and structures provided it does not involve removal or alteration of significant historic elements (for lead paint abatement, see above).
Fire Detection and Suppression. Lessor shall use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain a [***] system in the Building. In addition, Lessor shall provide and maintain fire extinguishers in the Building, [***] as determined by Lessor. Lessee acknowledges that it has reviewed and approved the smoke detection and fire suppression systems prior to the date hereof.
Fire Detection and Suppression including (a) Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA); (b) active laser air sampling system; (c) conventional smoke and heat sensors: cross-zone throughout the center on the ceiling, below the raised floor area, top of Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) room, etc.; (d) pre-action dry-pipe fire suppression system, or other equivalent industry standard.

Fire Detection and Suppression. Automatic fire detection and suppression equipment has been installed with our data centres. The fire detection system utilises smoke detection sensors in all data centre environments, mechanical and electrical infrastructure spaces, chiller rooms and generator equipment rooms.
