Gates Sample Clauses
The "Gates" clause establishes specific milestones or checkpoints within a project or contractual process that must be met before proceeding to the next phase. Typically, these gates require the completion of certain deliverables, approvals, or performance criteria, such as submitting a report, passing an inspection, or obtaining client sign-off. By structuring the project into stages with clear requirements at each gate, this clause helps manage risk, ensures quality control, and provides opportunities to reassess progress before further commitments are made.
