Geographic Coverage Sample Clauses
The Geographic Coverage clause defines the specific geographic area or regions where the terms of the agreement or contract are applicable. In practice, this clause may specify that the rights, obligations, or services outlined in the contract are limited to certain countries, states, or territories, and may exclude others. For example, a licensing agreement might only permit use of intellectual property within North America, or a distribution contract may restrict sales to a particular city or region. The core function of this clause is to clearly delineate the spatial boundaries of the agreement, thereby preventing misunderstandings or disputes about where the contract's provisions are enforceable.
