Hazard Analysis Sample Clauses

The Hazard Analysis clause requires parties to systematically identify and assess potential risks or dangers associated with a product, process, or activity. In practice, this involves evaluating possible hazards, determining their likelihood and severity, and implementing measures to mitigate or control these risks. This clause ensures that safety considerations are proactively addressed, reducing the chance of accidents or harm and helping organizations comply with regulatory requirements.
Hazard Analysis. The DOC’s Safety Officer or designee will conduct a work site Job Hazard Analysis prior to DOC approval of the Work Order. DOC may conduct periodic Site Inspections during the Work Order. A copy of the Job Hazard Analysis Report (Exhibit B) and Site Inspection (Exhibit C) may be provided to Tillamook County Parks upon request after completion of the assessment and/or inspection. If DOC’s representative believes the work site or any of the working conditions pose an increased risk to worker health or safety, the DOC concerns shall be resolved by the parties prior to the commencement of work. The Hazard Assessment Report and any addenda or other reports regarding the work site and working conditions shall be incorporated in and made a part of the Work Order.

Hazard Analysis. The purpose of the hazard analysis is to analyse possible hazards that can occur when the functions provided by the cruise control system are used by the driver in order to derive safety requirements for the system which can then be proved in the formal specification using Event-B. To systematically analyze possible hazards and to identify safety requirements the following process is used: 1. Identify main functions of the cruise control system from the semi- formal requirements specification Context_1 Context_0 Display_1 Display_0 VelocityControl_1 VelocityControl_0 SignalEval_1 SignalEval_0 StatedDisplay_0 SpeedDisplay_0 Comfort_0 CruiseResume_0 NoControl_0 AccDec_0 Timer_0 OtherCond_0

Hazard Analysis. A hazard analysis consists of identifying, screening and profiling each hazard. To complete the step of hazard identification and screening URS will: ▪ Illustrate how hazards were chosen for inclusion in the MHMP Update; inclusion will be based upon the following questions: € Is the hazard included in the 2008 MHMP? € Is the hazard included in the County’s General Plan? € Has the hazard occurred in the County and been associated with recent State and Presidential declarations? € Is the hazard identified in the 2010 California Multi-Hazard State Mitigation Plan? A hazard profile discusses the nature, history, location, extent and probability of future events for each hazard. To complete hazard profiles for each identified hazard URS will: ▪ Explain the nature of each hazard in general ▪ Note the locations of Mendocino County that are susceptible to each hazard ▪ Discuss the history of each hazard in Mendocino County, ensuring all history since the 2008 MHMP is captured ▪ Address the extent to which each hazard can affect the County ▪ Discuss the percent probability of each hazard occurring in Mendocino County’s future, based upon historical occurrences and/or relevant studies ▪ Develop/update hazard maps which illustrate historical and projected occurrences, and extent, when applicable
Hazard Analysis. The Contractor shall submit a Hazard Analysis prior to commencing the works under the Contract. The Council has identified risks associated with this Contract as follows: Cooking - Stove/Oven ▇▇▇▇▇ & Scalds Food Preparation Spillage on Floor causing Slips Food Preparation Cut fingers Food Storage Incorrect Temperature Manual Handling Back/muscle strain A risk is the possibility that personal injury, property loss or environmental harm will occur when working with or near a hazard. The goal of hazard analysis is to find ways to minimise the chance of injury, loss or harm.
Hazard Analysis. Subcontractor shall prepare a Task or Activity Hazard Analysis (THA/AHA) or equivalent for each Project phase comprising Subcontractor’s Work identifying the work sequence, hazards posed and control measures required to perform the activity according to accepted industry safe work practices. The equipment, tools and materials, inspection and training requirements to execute Subcontractor’s Work activity shall also be included in the THA/AHA. The THA/AHA must be readily available for review by CH2M HILL upon request.
Hazard Analysis. Contractor has a continuing responsibility to identify and ▇▇▇▇▇ hazardous conditions in the Rec Area and Marina Operations which could affect Rec Area improvements, Marina Operations or pose a risk of injury to individuals or property. Except in emergency situations, any actions to ▇▇▇▇▇ such hazards shall be performed after consultation with the River District.
