Health and Safety Representative Allowance. 37.1 An employee who has recognised responsibilities as a Health and Safety Representative or a Health and Safety Co-ordinator will be paid an annual allowance, paid fortnightly of $583 (and $595 from 21 June 2012, $601 from 3 January 2013, and $613 from 20 June 2013). This allowance will only be paid to employees who have successfully completed a recognised training program approved by the ATO.

34.3 This allowance is not payable to an employee whose primary role is as a Health and Safety Officer.
