(B) Each nonprobationary employee shall be entitled to advance to the next step of their respective schedule classification effective JuLy one (1) every calendar year.
(C) A new employee may be placed on the salary schedule at the discretion of the Board, provided that the employee does not also receive credit for longevity and/or seniority except as based on years of service in the bargaining unit. Criteria for determining experience credit, shall 'include the following:
1. Experience must be in a skill-related position.
2. Experience must be of nine months or more in order to be credited a step.
3. Formal training beyond high school will be credited at the rate of one s~ep for each two 'years, of formal training, with ·a maximum, credit of two steps.
AND COMPENSATION. Regular part-time employees working an established schedule of work shall be entitled to pro-rata fringe benefits on the basis of their hours of work per week compared to forty (40) hours. Temporary part-time employees shall not be entitled to any fringe benefits.

A. Movement on the salary scale will take place on the employee's anniversary date. The employee must have worked seventy-five (75%) of the scheduled days in order to receive a step on their anniversary date. If the days have not been worked, the employee must wait until the next anniversary date where the required attendance has been met.
B. A paraprofessional will be compensated every other week during the school year.
▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇: Employees with over twenty (20) years of service in the Laker School District as of June 30 each year shall receive Three Hundred ($300) for 2020-2021, Three Hundred Twenty- Five ($325) for 2021-2022, and Three Hundred Fifty ($350) for 2022-2013-dollar longevity payment no later than June 30 of each school year. This amount will be prorated in the event of a long-term unpaid leave of absence or layoff during that year.
▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ scheduled to work less than forty (40) hours per week who are permitted to sub for another paraprofessional, will receive their normal rate of pay for any additional hours worked up to forty (40) hours per week.
E. An off-schedule payment of $100 will be paid in September to all employees covered under this agreement in 2020-2021.

AND COMPENSATION. 30. 1 If the Union and/ or the employee believe the employee is improperly classified, the Union and/ or the employee may request a j ob study of the employee's position. The agency will forward the request to the Office of Personnel administration (Classification) for appropriate action. The Office of Personnel Administration will conduct a job study of the position in question and a full copy of the job study will be provided to the employee and the Union within ninety (90) days from the date the request is received by the Office of Personnel Administration. The decision rendered by the Office of Personnel Administration is not subject to the grievance and/ or arbitration procedure(s). The Union will be notified of ariy request by an employee for a job study for his/ her position. In the event that it is found the employee is in fact working out of classification, one of two options shall take place:
1. The employee will receive the position in accordance with the appropriate administrative budgetary/ personnel procedures to the position that be·st represents the duties performed by the employee, or;
2. Inform the employee he/ she is not to perform the duties other than those required of the class specifications for said position. Should the state implement the option 1 above for the incumbent, this shall not be construed to be a "new or vacant position" subject to Article 28, Section 4.
30.2 An employee or the Union may not request a subsequent job study of the same job assignment within a twelve (12) month period after any completed or adjudicated result.
