Holiday Falling on a Regular Day Off Sample Clauses

The "Holiday Falling on a Regular Day Off" clause defines how holidays are treated when they coincide with an employee's scheduled day off. Typically, if a recognized public holiday occurs on a day when an employee is not scheduled to work, the clause may entitle the employee to an alternative day off or additional compensation. For example, if a holiday falls on a weekend for an employee who does not work weekends, the employee might receive a substitute day off during the workweek. This clause ensures that employees receive the full benefit of designated holidays, preventing them from missing out due to their regular work schedule.
