HOURS OF WORK AND SHIFT ARRANGEMENTS. Unless otherwise specifically addressed, and subject to the Canada Labour Code, nothing in this Article shall be construed as a guarantee of, or a limitation on, the hours of work per day or per week. Employees shall not work more than sixteen (16) consecutive hours in a day. 17.01 (a) The standard work week for full-time employees shall consist of forty (40) hours to be worked in a manner to best meet the Company's contractual commitments. A working day shall consist of eight and one- half (8 1/2) hours including one-half (1/2) hour unpaid meal break each day.
